ABOUT US
Our History
Located in Fulham, an area of southwest London known for its industrial roots, our laundry was established in 1906. It went on to become a thriving family business, operating on a site that was once part of the Fulham Estate. In the 1990s, our offering was modernised in the hands of the former managing director of The Savoy Hotel Laundry, who renamed the business in honour of nearby Fulham Palace.
In 2004, Palace Laundry was acquired by Firmdale Hotels. Our most recent refurbishment saw the addition of further state-of-the-art technology, including an up-to-the-minute tunnel washer. Combined with a team of highly experienced staff, the result is a bespoke laundering service providing beautifully cared for linens in an efficient turnaround time for some of London’s most lauded venues.
We’re proud to invest and re-invest in both our equipment and our staff here at Palace Laundry. Our neighbourhood premises (a hard-working 10,000 sq-ft space) has seen its fair share of changes since our inception nearly 120 years ago, but one thing remains the same: our dedication to consistency and excellence.
We’re adept at keeping abreast of technological changes, including most recently, a comprehensive update that includes a state-of-the-art tunnel washer (capable of producing 35kg laundry batches every 180 seconds, plus a batch drier capacity of 240kg); two ironing lines; towel folders; a wet and dry cleaning system and five washing machines.

Reynolds
General Manager
Formerly Group Head Housekeeper at Firmdale Hotels, Sheryl has been General Manager at Palace Laundry since 2009. Having worked within hospitality, she has a unique perspective of both sides of the industry. She is committed to delivering 5-star standards, looking at every piece through the eyes of a guest.
Peter
Dickens
Production Manager
Peter started at Palace Laundry at the age of 16, working his way through every department to hone his expertise. His knowledge of flat work production is outstanding, and he has the ability to easily troubleshoot linen or machinery issues. He’s proud to be celebrating 40 years’ service with us in September 2025.
Edgar
Alvarez
Production Manager
Edgar started his career in the hospitality sector, managing a large linen and staff laundry department at a 5-star hotel in London’s Park Lane. Customer service is Edgar’s key strength, with his motto being that he’ll always deliver the seemingly impossible. Edgar has worked at Palace Laundry for over 16 years.
David
Mundle
Guest Laundry Manager
David has a wealth of experience in all departments of laundry and dry-cleaning. He oversees around 9,000 items of laundry per week, paying careful attention to detail to every piece along with his team. He has worked at Palace Laundry for over 20 years.
Dumitru
Badareu
Assistant Production Manager
Dumitru joined us eight years ago as a laundry operative and now oversees daily production of tunnel washing. A passion for getting the job done has seen him rise through the ranks, becoming a prized part of our management team.
Zsuzsanna
Csiszar
Office Manager
Zsuzsanna joined us 11 years ago as Office Manager. She oversees daily operations, manages client pricing and invoicing, and provides support with customer service enquiries. With her dedication and attention to detail, Zsuzsanna plays a key role in keeping our team and clients well looked after.
